MIC Mediterranean international Cup
Mediterranean International Cup, also known as MIC, is a youth soccer tournament held annually on the Costa Brava. Participation is for male and female players between 10 and 19 years old, who live the so-called “World Cup of grassroots football “. The first edition, in 2001, was held in Gran Canaria. Over 270 teams from 40 countries around the world participated in the 2016 edition. Some matches are broadcast worldwide on television.
The event is held during March-April. Currently, the MIC is held in 22 towns on the Costa Brava. A lot of great players have competed in the past season and every year new young players get a chance to compete at the highest level.
