At KSA we show that we don’t just enjoy soccer at the academy. Our outings and trips are also aimed at learning and training in other environments. In this case, the boys have traveled to enjoy the International Clinic with Benfica in Lisbon.
From Monday, March 24 until last Wednesday, March 26, the boys trained at the Benfica Campus and participated in cultural activities in the city. It was an intense three days full of soccer.
A very complete clinic
On the first day, there was not much time for rest after arrival. Benfica’s stadium was waiting for them, awaiting their arrival. The boys were amazed with the Estádio da Luz, and had lunch in their facilities.
After the tour of its exterior and museum, it was finally time to rest and welcome the second day. In the morning, they spent their time training at the Benfica Campus, a real privilege. In the afternoon, on the other hand, they were able to get to know the city a bit, visiting emblematic places such as the Cristo Rey viewpoint or the Plaza del Comercio.
That same day, in the evening, they played two matches with local teams. U18 played against Seixal FC, winning 3-1. On the other hand, our U16 lost against Amora 2-3. After a well-deserved rest, the third day was a new training session at Benfica Campus and the return to Barcelona.
Our international and national clinics
Being at Kaptiva Sports Academy is a complete experience. First of all, because of all the programs that are offered for any need, but also because of all the events that take place outside the academy and help our kids to grow and develop by getting a broader perspective.
For this, we have our international and national clinics. These events are held in collaboration with a national or international club. For example, a few months ago we had a national clinic with Betis in Seville. In this case, it has been an international clinic with Benfica in Lisbon.
