We already know the winners of the KSA Cards Ranking of the month. At Kaptiva Sports Academy we don’t just care about football and technical skills. We also care about mental health and emotional well-being. We also attach importance to living together in the residence.

We have to make an effort to respect our space and the space of others. That is why we have created a system through which the boys are involved in creating a more pleasant environment for everyone.

What are KSA Cards?

The KSA Cards have their most direct reference in the player cards of the FIFA video game. In them, certain aspects and skills that the player has on the pitch are valued with numbers. But we have given them a twist.

In order to promote order, coexistence and respect among teammates in the residence, we have scored other types of aspects. For example, the tidiest room or the cleanliness of the premises, among others.

In this way, every month a meeting is held and the staff determines which boys and girls deserve to be in the top 3 positions. This time it was Hamadout, Vit and Hugo. As a reward, they have received tickets to see FC Barcelona against Girona in March. Bravo for them!

Other activities at the residence

Apart from giving prizes and making sure that the children tidy up and pick up their environment, there are other types of activities. For example, we do physiotherapy recovery sessions in the lounge.

In this way, we not only take care of the body, but also share a pleasant time with our physiotherapists. Likewise, we also do video analysis of plays of the professional teams.

The boys learn from the best, analysing the successes and mistakes that teams can make when approaching a play. This is transferred by the coaches to the training field, always following the Kaptiva method.

Beyond the field

As we demonstrate, Kaptiva Sports Academy activity often goes beyond the field to generate interaction and learning in other parallel ways. We take care of the kids physically and mentally with physiotherapy and psychology services.

In addition, as we have talked about in other posts, we also do weekend outings, to disconnect and spend time together. Today we have told you about the winners of the KSA Cards Ranking, but next week we can be telling you about the amazing trip to the snow that the boys are going to have this weekend (will they know how to ski…?).
