Success Stories of our Kaptiva Sports Academy Players
Over the years, we are happy to say that we at Kaptiva Sports Academy have developed some great talents, who were able to break into the soccer world by playing for professional teams or national selections. Here are some examples of those success stories.
Josep Masllorens
Josep attended Kaptiva Sports Academy during the 2015-2016 school year. After his participation, he signed for Girona FC and is currently playing at the U16 top Spanish Division. KSA wishes him luck as he strives for greatness.
Matteo Valotto
After an intense training in our academy, he was selected for the Norwegian National team U17. Matteo is an example of how KSA takes soccer to the next level.
Joseph Lahoud
Joseph arrived in Barcelona last year to join Kaptiva Sports Academy annual program.
He started playing on UE Cornella for Juvenil 2nd Division and he played only 3 games on this category and his great performance caused a very good impression on Juvenil C Preferente’s coach. The coach decided to give him a chance on his team immediately.
Joseph, with his special talent scoring goals, was a very outstanding player during 2013-2014 season. After his participation in Kaptiva Sports Academy, Joseph Lahoud, came back to his country and sign for the Al Nejmeh Sporting Club, a 1st division team in Beirut, Lebanon.
Kaptiva Sports wants to wish him all the best in his new Club.
Sebastian Stacey
Sebastian Stacey obtained a sports scholarship at San Fransisco University http://usfdons.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3150&path=msoc . He is from Prague, Czech Rebublic and attended KSA. His freshman year he made four appearances and played a total of 111 minutes. His sophomore year he started 10 out of his 12 appearances of the year ad played a season- high 90 minutes on three separate occasions: Cal State Fullerton, Stanford, and Santa Clara. We are very proud of Sebastian and his accomplishments.
Anirudh Jain
Anirudh trained at KSA for five intense months and was then selected for the Indian National team U17 on preparation for the FIFA world cup in 2017 https://www.the-aiff.com/news-center-details.htm?id=7303. Anirudh shows that players who pursue their soccer goals and attend KSA can achieve greatness.
Team KSA
In 2015 and 2017, Team KSA competed in the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) (http://www.micfootball.com/en/mic-10/programs/dates.html) and were winners of the B final! The tournament is help in Costa Brava, Spain with teams coming from different countries ranging from 12-19 years old. There are 596 matches in the span of five days, more than 5,000 participants, live matched featured on the internet, and there are 250 teams representing 40 nationalities of five continents. This tournament is one of the most competitive Spring tournaments in Europe.
