As is customary, Kaptiva Sports Academy once again participated in the latest edition of the MIC tournament. As expected at this must-attend event, our teams faced opponents who demonstrated a high level of skill on the field. Here is the MIC 2026 Recap.
First and foremost, it’s worth noting that we fielded four KSA teams (U15, U16, U18A, and U18B). All of them had a magnificent tournament, and as always, we want to thank them, our staff, and the tournament organizers for making this event possible.
Two KSA teams reached the Silver Phase final
That’s right, for the first time, two KSA teams reached the Silver Phase final. They were the U15 and U18A teams. This is undoubtedly an achievement that builds on our success at the MIC 2025, where all four of our teams advanced past the group stage. Meanwhile, our U16 and U18B teams made it to the round 1/16 and the quarterfinals, respectively. The opponents were fierce, and the matches were very intense, you’ll be able to see them soon in the video recap when it’s available on our YouTube channel.
As we’ve said time and again, results aren’t the most important thing for KSA. Even so, we’re seeing how our constant hard work and dedication are gradually paying off. But we want to focus our efforts on player development and how these experiences help strengthen them as individuals and as a team.
Youth international tournaments and residential football programs with KSA
KSA (Kaptiva Sports Academy) is a highly recommended experience for young people who want to learn or improve their playing style using the Kaptiva methodology (if you want to learn more, visit this post: What is the Kaptiva Method?). They will have the chance to participate in youth international tournaments and more experiences with KSA.
