Another of the great international tournaments that we have the pleasure of attending is already here. We are talking about the MADCUP, which in its 2025 edition will host the best teams to face each other on the field. Now we already know the MADCUP 2025 Group Stage Matchups.
This V edition will take place from June 20 to 25, in the Community of Madrid. MADCUP Football also has the support of the Academia Atlético de Madrid, the Real Federación de Fútbol de Madrid, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol, the Comunidad de Madrid and UN Tourism as strategic partners.
What is the MADCUP about?
But, talking a little more in detail about the tournament, let’s see what it consists of and what differentiates it from other tournaments. As a brief definition, after its four editions it has already established itself as a reference tournament in youth football, both nationally and internationally.
It takes place in the Ciudad Deportiva Alcalá de Henares of Atlético de Madrid, and is attended by teams from all over the world. In 2025, following the competition in Madrid, another one has already been announced in Gran Canaria, from June 26 to 29.
It will feature male categories from U7 to U19, female categories from U12 to U19, as well as inclusive categories.
Group stage matchups
We already know the organization of teams in the first phase of the tournament. Standout players from Kaptiva-organized events, who make up our Global Stage teams, will represent KSA on the international stage.
Our teams will have the opportunity to go a few days before with our coaches from Kaptiva Sports Academy to train and develop strategies for the tournament.

Our main goal in tournaments
As we have said before, the main objective when attending tournaments is not the results. Obviously, wins or losses can reflect the state of the team and help both players and coaches to improve.
However, the interesting thing is to offer the boys and girls the opportunity to play against great teams in a tournament of international quality. Above all, you always have to give the best of yourself, but always with the satisfaction of being able to participate and enhance teamwork and the good values that surround football.
