Right now, our boys are enjoying a training clinic in Germany with Bayern Munich. It’s just one of the events awaiting us before the end of the year. But the boys aren’t losing focus. KSA continues training for upcoming tournaments.

The closest tournament will be the Cruyff Football Tournament, which takes place in December. For this reason, the training sessions at Kaptiva Sports Academy are focused on developing strategies and plays to perform as well as possible in the tournament.

Training every day at KSA

Our work is constant, so every day we strive to ensure that the boys follow the coaches’ advice. Kevin, Iván, Gabriel… they all know how to structure each training session to make it as effective as possible. Training takes place from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., with the players divided into different teams with different coaches.

After a few minutes of warm-up exercises, other activities are carried out to improve dribbling, defense, positioning, etc. Our coaches make sure that all the kids are constantly moving (without standing still or forming lines) and that they do not stand facing the sun when they gather to talk to the coach.

In addition, it is important to keep track of all the training logistics (cones, goals, bibs, balls, etc.) and not interfere too much in the exercise except to correct mistakes. Coaches always know how to position themselves at a reasonable distance so they can observe without hindering the movement of the players or the ball.

The boys continue their studies with determination

The school with which Kaptiva Sports Academy has an agreement is located on the same premises, separate from the residence. As soon as each training session ends, the boys begin their classes. It is very important that they perform equally well on the field and in their studies, which is why they must make this important commitment to constant effort.

All of them continue with the American curriculum during their stay at KSA. It’s not all about football; they also need to devote time to studying and advancing their education to become well-rounded, cultured individuals. Both the school and the Academy are mutually committed to developing good people, which will always take precedence over everything else.

Day after day, tutors, coaches, and psychology staff strive to help the kids develop their interpersonal relationships. At the residence, everyone enjoys each other’s company and team-building activities, as well as free time.

KSA continues training for upcoming tournaments, but we never forget who we are, our DNA. If you have any questions about our methodology, we are at your disposal.
