After the hangover from MIC 2025, we’d like to return to an important topic: congratulations Hugo Gabor, Player of the Winter! That’s right, every season at KSA we choose a player who meets and exceeds the goals on and off the field. This time, it’s Hugo András Gabor’s turn.
We previously told you that Matias Rivera had been Player of the Autumn. Now, Hugo has demonstrated during the winter a commitment and effort that deserves its reward. Below, you can see the video of his interview.
A very complete player
After the Surf Cup 2024, it was time to get back to hard training, international clinics, etc. Hugo has not only sweated in the field, but has worked hard in the residence, fulfilling his duties.
This recognition is based on his commitment, resilience and professionalism. It is also a way to encourage this type of behavior in the rest of the kids that make up the academy.
Just like the KSA Cards, the best players of each season are a reference for others. It is not about awarding a trophy, but about recognizing daily work. It is in the little things, day by day, that the commitment of each player is noticed.
It’s time to get back to training
Now, after MIC 2025, the boys must reflect, observe their mistakes and improve together with the coaches everything they consider. It has been a very nice experience, and as Hugo says in the video, you always have to try to give the best, at every moment.
Undoubtedly, these guys are not only a team, but a family. That’s one of the advantages of sending your kids to Kaptiva Sports Academy. Here, they get out of their comfort zone, face high level teams, learn to live together and respect each other, to take care of the common environment and to get to know other cultures.
