Highlights from Kaptiva Sports Academy at the Cruyff Football Tournament
First of all, and following the video, we must thank the organization for welcoming the teams. It was truly amazing! Then we had to find our rooms in the accommodation, and as you can see, more than one of us had trouble doing so…
But without a doubt, after a tour of those rooms where the guys surely had a good time, the first matches came. There was a bit of everything: victories, defeats… But the level of all our teams was quite high. We made it clear that we are going all out.
The locker rooms were filled with talks from our coaches, nerves, and celebrations. Especially the latter, when our U16 team won the Silver Medal in a hard-fought final. Our U19 team also made it to the final, which certainly deserved another big celebration.
Training for MIC 2026
As you can see, the video goes by quickly, recalling every game and every unrepeatable moment. But the boys have had time to rest, with the Christmas holidays in between. Now, a couple of months after the end of the year, they are almost ready for what is coming… the MIC 2026.
All the players at Kaptiva Sports Academy are following the coaches’ guidelines and advice to make this tournament at least as magnificent as last year’s. If you remember, it was the first time that all our teams made it through the group stage, which was memorable.
We continue to grow little by little, offering more opportunities to players (such as those already training with Girona), and learning from our mistakes. Each tournament is an opportunity to measure ourselves, to see if we are on the right track. That’s why we are really looking forward to the MIC 2026.
