The KSA kids are already saying goodbye to the academy, the residence and their teammates. Summer is coming, and although there are still the Summer Camps, as well as the ID Show-Case in Houston, the daily activity comes to an end with the end of the season in KSA.
During this week and next, the youngsters are packing their bags to return home and enjoy a well-deserved rest. They are reunited with their families to welcome a summer full of plans.
Time for reflection
Even so, this stage is fundamental for them, as they experience certain sensations that are interesting to analyse. It is also, in the same way, a time for reflection.
Coaches and tutors will reflect on how this year has gone at Kaptiva Sports Academy. The kids, for their part, will also have to think about what they have done right and wrong, in order to improve.
Looking back at your achievements, the challenges you have overcome and the growth you have experienced is the best way to grow.
Time for celebration
As well as noting failures or mistakes so that you can correct them in the future, celebrate the successes and milestones reached throughout the season. It is important to acknowledge the hard work and dedication you’ve put in.
This should be used to continue training in the same way, without getting distracted. This way we can know what has worked during the year. We have to celebrate, but with a clear head, being humble and always studying each situation individually, without underestimating our opponents.
On a personal level, it is good to celebrate and rest after tournaments and victories. As long as you keep a cool head, a break with your teammates can be very healthy.
Preparation for next steps
Finally, prior to the start of the new season, it is essential to set new objectives. Thus, with objectives in mind, the year is established as a journey where goals can be achieved.
Always, without getting overwhelmed. It is ok if some of these goals are not met. They should be seen as achievable, something the kids can accomplish. In short, the boys should use this period to prepare for the next steps in their football and personal journey. They can set new goals and plan how to continue their development in the off-season and beyond.
As you can see, this is one of the key moments in the end of the season in KSA. Coaches and tutors face their own reflections. But we are sure that the boys will come back twice as prepared and motivated for the new season. Now, enjoy the summer! You deserve it!
